AMP T-350 Rubber Clamp - Vertical Hold Down Pad
The AMP T-350 Rubber Clamp Tip is a replacement protective pad for the pneumatic vertical hold-down clamps used on AMP miter saws. This runner tip provides the contact surface between the pneumatic clamp and the picture frame moulding during the cutting process.
The rubber clamp tip helps the vertical hold-down cylinder maintain firm, consistent pressure on the moulding while protecting the finished surface from direct contact with the metal clamp. This rubber material also provides a protective interface between the clamp and moulding, making it suitable for use with finished picture frame moulding where avoiding marks or damage to the surface is important.
When should the clamp be replaced?
The rubber clamp tip is a wear component and should be inspected as part of routine AMP T-350 maintenance. Replace the tip if it becomes worn, hardened, damaged, contaminated with debris, or no longer provides a clean, secure contact surface against the moulding.
